How does a food co-op track member-owners, share payments, and households in one place?

In closed testing, Parmenas keeps a shared member book for your cooperative, recording each member household's number, paid-in equity shares, payment installment plan, authorized household shoppers, and preferred language (English or informal tú Spanish) so the member portal, the checkout counter, and the treasurer's records match.

Welcoming the García household on a Friday afternoon

Elena García joins the co-op at the counter during her Friday grocery trip. Instead of handing her a paper form that has to be typed into a spreadsheet next week, the cashier enters her name, email, and preferred language (Spanish), and records her first $25 payment toward a $100 member share.

Before Elena leaves the counter, her member number is active, her partner is listed as a household shopper, her receipt prints in Spanish, and the treasurer's equity records include the $25 payment.
